Cadillac is redefining luxury with the all-new Cadillac CT4. Replacing the ATS, the CT4 is a sedan that has everything drivers in Newtown Square need when hitting the road. If you have been looking for a sedan that has all of the tech, safety, and performance you could ever want, this may just be the option for you. Here is an in-depth look at what is going on with the Cadillac CT4.
The CT4 is not a one-size-fits-all type of sedan. Drivers in the Chesterbrook area have four different variations of this vehicle to take a look at before deciding which one is appropriate for them. The entry-level model is called the Luxury and it more than lives up to its name. Standard features you will find here include LED headlights and taillights as well as an 8-inch diagonal HD touchscreen.
As for the Premium Luxury trim, it boasts an exclusive wheel design. It also adds leather-appointed seating surfaces as well as an impressive bundle of today's most important driver aids. You can also go with what Cadillac calls the CT4 Sport. On the outside, you'll immediately notice the sport grille, fascias, spoiler, and tail lamps. Once you move inside the cabin, you can try out the 18-way power-adjustable power seats, including sport bolsters. There are eye-catching alloy brake pedals as well. The Sport trim gets Brembo performance ones for the front.
The fourth and final trim is known as the CT4-V. This vehicle makes performance upgrades primarily. Some of the highlights include a more powerful engine, limited-slip rear differential, and a performance suspension featuring magnetic ride control. Plus, you get the heart-pounding launch control feature.
Both of the available engines for the Cadillac CT4 are built to exhilarate. The standard for the first three trim levels is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder. It is good for 237-horsepower in addition to 258 lb-ft of torque. There is an eight-speed automatic transmission paired to it for a well-controlled ride around Wayne. The engine also comes with a stop/start function that can be disabled if desired.
For the top-of-the-line CT4-V, there is a turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder engine instead. With this, the CT4 can make 325-horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. This engine is also available in the Premium Luxury trim. Models with a more powerful engine are paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. All models come standard with rear-wheel-drive but can also be upgraded to all-wheel-drive.
The sleek and sophisticated look found on the outside of the CT4 carries over into the cabin. All models have nice touches such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There are a variety of interior color schemes and upholstery options to consider as well, depending on the trim level you have selected. Also, standard for all models is power-adjustable front seats. Select trims offer heated seats with fancy upgrades such as a massage function to enjoy while driving around West Chester.
Further adding to the sophistication of the CT4 are the tech features you'll find inside. The dual digital driver information display is a great example. It can be personalized to fit your preferences and deliver warning messages as well as important vehicle information. Also standard is an 8-inch diagonal screen for running the Cadillac User Experience infotainment system. This system allows you to customize preferences for multiple drivers. It also allows you to easily pair your phone with the CT4 through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth come standard, further helping you stay connected when inside your CT4.
At Hill Cadillac, we love showing drivers the standard and available safety features for the CT4. All models have highly-advanced driver aids such as an HD rearview camera and an LED reflective windshield collision alert. When certain conditions are detected, this feature starts flashing a red warning icon to help draw your attention back to the road. All models also will give you a handy tire pressure monitoring system as well as the Teen Driver program. They are all also OnStar compatible.
There are many more driver aids found standard on all but the entry-level Luxury trim. They include forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, rear park assist, and a safety alert seat that vibrates to get the driver's attention. Available on select trims are even more aids, like a lane change alert with a side blind-zone warning and lane-keep assist featuring lane departure warning. Also available on upper trims are rear parking sensors as well as rear cross-traffic alert.
You can equip your CT4 with the following distance indicator. It will alert you what your gap time is between you and the vehicle ahead and will warn you if you are following too closely. You can also consider going with a model with the head-up display. This increasingly-popular feature will project the information you need directly into your line of sight near the bottom of the windshield. It can give you navigation directions, entertainment info, and critical vehicle data without distracting you from the road.
